I have even tried to use Syncrospector to push the truth from one machine and pull it from the other, and nothing seems to make any difference.
The Truth is a per-machine resource, so the concept of pushing the truth in one place, and pulling it in another is a non-operation. Sadly, there are no tools which give insight to what .Mac thinks of your sync state.
One clue I uncovered today is that Syncrospector reports the Sync State for the Yojimbo client as Canceled, even though I know I didn't cancel it. I scanned the status of some other clients, and they all report a status of Success on the same sync runs. This leads me to suspect that Yojimbo itself, not .Mac or Sync Services, may be doing something wrong.
What this typically means is the sync took more than 15 minutes, and .Mac canceled the sync on you.
I am at my knowledge limit here. Since I have not seen any earlier reports of this factoid, has anyone else who is having trouble looked into this? Anyone at BB have any thoughts on it?
I haven't checked our support email to see if you've written in lately, but they have a formula which should address the timeout-based cancelation. (I'd like to say "will", but there are no guarantees in sync-land!)
