Since I reported the problem and "Restored" my permissions, I haven't had any more issues. I discovered through the process of elimination that document aliases (Adobe Illustrator Files) created in Entourage's Project Center and my not so tidy filing practices were causing all of the weird kinks. Don't mean to go off the Yojimbo topic but I thought it would be of interest to some people. I guess I'm a ways away from being a GTD guru.
