I don't know about help or the manual, but select some text in a note and then select Add Hyperlink.
Hmm, I just typed 'hyperlink' into the help search and got a hit. OK, that's just a reference to the menu item. Would probably be a good idea for the manual to have more info, such as text needs to be selected first. Send a note to BBSW and suggest the change.
