Moin, i have tested some distros that time.i tested ark, simply mephis and kubuntu. ark has a nice controllcenter on live-cd but installation faild on my lap. for our installer please take a look at the kubuntu installer, he loads after installing all languagefiles from internet and configure automaticly all languagefiles and spellchecking like aspell.
this kubuntu stuff is integrated in the live-cd and really fast.simply mephis has an nice installer too but i can not configure the locale for german on console and have to install german language in KDE with apt after install.
