Hi all,

Well, I think my plan to NZ is already 80% failure as no bank is ready to
give loan and moreoever I have been appointed as lead here in my Company in
Windows Technology and partnered with Microsoft for a big project.

Well sorry to hear that, either way. Not my place, but are you sure to
skip it that easy?

Tobias,
As far as the buildserver, can we get smart update and upgrade and install
?. If so, Can I install the Yoper Beta ISO and do smart upgrade?.

Yes you can. Gnome is getting moved at the moment, but so far the side
effects have only been good. ( /me touches some wood.)

For Installer, I prefer working on making the CLI installer BEST as that would
give us the speed, reliablity.Ofcourse, we can make it user friendly. But
then, we need to come into consensus here with other team members.

Good to hear, my next and most importent goal is to have the CLI
installer refactored to be implemented into any operating system with
as less affection of the native linux system as possible. In the end
this serves the purpose of getting broader audience and participation
of using YIS. Furthermore it's necessary to have a flawless concept of
providing forthnight development ISO snapshots.

CLI Installer should be stable first and be a base before starting GUI
Installer. With GUI Installer, there are lot of concerns to be taken which I
have been discussing with Tobias already. I feel Tobias is the only person
working with CLI. I am ready to join with him and hope few could, as it is
(Advanced)Bash Scripting.

Guess I should get my thoughts into the svn so that people can take a
look at it. Will take to the end of the week though.

regards

Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do.
