Hi all,

I added resume2=swap:/dev/hda2 to my lilo.conf file and did lilo -v after
that .. and the error about suspend2 is gone .. now .. so this works ..
/dev/hda2 is my swap obviously ..

one thing that remains is:

ACPI Bios found, activating modules:
/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 266: /etc/init.d/acpid: No such file of directory

Hi,

please do smart install acpid . Seems like it's not pulled in by
default. Will take a look at it. Thanks for the hint.

...

other stuff is either skipped done or OK .. so startup is cleaning up good
it seems on my end ..

Thanks. Good to know it works on other boxes as well. What do you
think about the bootup time? Did it improve ?

regards
