Hi,

the yoper repositories have finally only the latest releases of a
package in the repositories. That did cut down the repository size
from 12 to 3 GB .

During the migration was a faulty xorg-server version available ( for
about 8 hours ). If you see your xorg-server starting but you can't
use mouse and keyboard check your xorg.log and your version of the
xorg-server rpm ( rpm -q xorg-server ) .

If your version is 1.2.99.X you have to downgrade it to get a working
x back. One way to do is to do smart install links and then use links
ftp://ftp.yoper.com/pub . Browse to the rocketfuel directory and
download the xorg-server rpm you find there.

Once the package is locally downloaded use smart install $LOCAL_RPM .
That will replace the wrong version. Then use /etc/init.d/kdmctrl
restart to get a working kde login screen back.

regards
