That's good :) Generally I try to avoid making changes to the layouts, but seeing as we are messing about with the main window a bit, I'm thinking of a few more to improve the asthetics. The top section now looks a bit unbalanced, so I thought the Mono/Stereo button could move across just below the Reset one. This end column is then all immediate, but not stored controls. The master key shift wording can then go back to saying 'Key Shift'. Something else that's been bugging me for some time is that there are three controls in the lower 'part' frame that are not in fact part controls! These are: The part number (it sets the part that's displayed but does nothing to it). The number of available parts. The Pan Law. A questionable 4th is the Edit button. So what do you think of the following: Move 'Pan Law' to the right of the number of parts. Move the instrument name/selector to the right of 'Mode'' Move the 4 rotary controls down to fill the space below (and make way for the instrument name). Finally, move the top line of the part frame down 1 line, but fake a tab so it includes 'Edit' Thoughts anyone? -- Will J Godfrey https://willgodfrey.bandcamp.com/ http://yoshimi.github.io Say you have a poem and I have a tune. Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song. _______________________________________________ Yoshimi-devel mailing list Yoshimi-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/yoshimi-devel
