When you make a pull request for a significant change - especially adding new
features - please also add a note to the changelog. It's then much easier to
find something rather than hunting through acres of commits. Besides, if you've
done the work people should know about it!

When writing up the notes for releases I always browse through this to remind
myself what has actually been done!

It would also be helpful if you update the build number (Misc/ConfBuild.h). If
you're not sure the current number is correct, it's fine to take it up a couple
of steps - just so we don't get two the same. This is always reported in the
Console Window (or terminal if it's running headless) so if a user has a
problem we can zero in on it faster.
