This has been requested a number of times on various forums, so eventually I
bit the bullet and took a look at the possibilities... and have made quite a
bit of progress. The way I'm working will be quite transparent to users for
now, however I've just been working mostly on the 'standard' text colour. I've
found lots of anomalies - you'd be surprised at how many different 'blacks'
have been used - including very dark blues and greys, the different numbers have
been applied quite randomly it seems, so I'm rationalising those as I go.

I've also managed to formalise some of the background and graph colours. On
some occasions I've tweaked them slightly, hopefully making them stand out
better without being over the top.

A problem I haven't delved in to yet is the way FLTK changes actual colours to
maintain contrast.

Eventually people will be able to create themes themselves and slot them in as
alternatives. If people want to make them available we will be able to add them
in, so those wanting a 'dark' theme will be able to have one.
Maybe then they'll shut up!

Say you have a poem and I have a tune.
Exchange them and we can both have a poem, a tune, and a song.
