And there's more :( I've just seen this on one of my 'fast' machines. I'd gone back to run a very old version in order to check a display oddity. This would have altered the .config file. When going back to the current version it wouldn't start until I increased the delay to 1500mS. After that startup I could set it back to 500mS for later starts without problems.
