Odd! maybe it *is* hogging all the space, and hence causing the rest to cut
out. Dunno, I'm not a jack expert, just jogging along with what I've been told.

You have up to 8 voices. I've only ever used 4 at the most, and usually just 1
or 2. Having multiple voices with different ADSR, filtering etc. enables you
to build up some very complex sounds.

For example you can have voice 1 with a fast attack and quite fast decay with a
very harsh sound, then voice 2 with a slower attack smoother sound with a
delayed LFO etc.
