I like being able to see the engines in the banks window, but perhaps use the 
same black font and instead show the differences with a background colour fill? 
Maybe plain background for ADD, red for SUB (same as the ADD font colour) and 
green for PAD (as it currently is)?

I also like the examples bit at the bottom, but maybe make it clear that 
clicking them won't do anything.

+1 to this, and I think with the coloured buttons it would be clear enough to 
not need the bold font

I didn't notice this either, forgot to watch for it until I re-read your email 
:)

As I usually just use the ubuntu/kxstudio repo version, this is the first I've 
seen of the banks window - nice!
