Personally I have no knowledge of programming anything except Linux. However, I can see potential benefits of making Yoshimi cross-platform, and would have no objection at all if someone wanted to get involved in this. What I don't want to happen though is for actual development to get dragged down in the mire of platform incompatibilities. One of the first things Cal did was to strip out the existing windows code in order to get a clear view.
