Eudora and Thunderbird (and other mail apps) use a similar 'threading'
logic, but don't have the separate thread header bar above a thread
that you get in Entourage - they use the details of the first message
in the thread as a thread header.
This is certainly less wasteful of space, but can be confusing in some
cases. If you want to see Entourage do things a different way, please
send feedback to Microsoft using the 'send feedback' link under the
Help menu in Entourage.

Eudora works in this way, and it is very clean. I would have to go
and
check, but I think Thunderbird works this way as well.
Frankly, I'm surprised all email programs don't do this. Entourage
and
Outlook are the only email programs I know that use the hideous
Groups title
bar.
