A couple of ways to accomplish this task. 1) download one of the scripts at this link: Custom Scripts <http://www.entourage.mvps.org/script/custom_scripts.html#script4> One version shows the path in a text window. Another version of this script, will show the message in its own folder list, with the folder, wherever it is, highlighted in the Folders List at the left. 2) Select the messages in the search and use the Move to icon to move the messages to another folder. > or keep it from happening again Accidental drags of messages happen, there is no way to prevent this. I have problems with my hands so I do stuff like this quite frequently. Sometimes I catch it when it happens and I use Command-Z to undo.
