I see any open message window reopen after a crash. It was saved in Drafts.

The real problem we need to address is all of your crashes.

1) Testing in a new User will quickly tell you if the problem is system
wide or if it's your User's folder that contains the problem.

2) Go to System Preferences --> Create a New User in Accounts. Switch to
the New User by logging out/in or use Fast User Switching.

[Note: drawback on this method is your documents are not there so testing is
somewhat limited.]

3) If I were to test Entourage in a new User, I would first open Entourage
in a new blank Identity. I would try to recreate the crash. Is it clicking
on some icon, composing, sending????

4) If you can't recreate the problem in a new blank Identity, you can bring
over your current Identity for testing. Go back to your original User and
drag your Main Identity to the Shared folder.

Your Identity path: ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2008
Identities/Main Identity

Path to Shared: "/Users/Shared"

Switch back to new test User and drag from Shared (it actually copies so be
sure to set your Account to either work offline if not testing send/receive,
or under the Options tab in Accounts to "leave on server" if you are testing
send/receive.)

5) Does your old Identity work? If yes, then there is a problem in your
User's folder. If no, then we know a blank Identity worked but your current
Identity failed. You can try rebuilding your Identity.

Make a duplicate in the Finder first as additional backup. A rebuild does
make a duplicate, but sometimes in the process the original and backup get
merged resulting in total disaster. It's rare but it happens.

How to rebuild:

This method works for all applications. Testing in a clean environment helps
to identify where the problems is located. Is it your file, your user's
folder, your application install or the base system files???

Remember to drag back from Shared when you are back in your regular User's
account or Entourage will open in a new blank Identity giving you a big
scare. :-)

Hope this helps get your started.
