It always lands on the desktop for me. It¹s called Entourage Archives. What happened when you tried the export as Entourage archive (.rge) file? Did it complete? Normally, if it completes it means the data is good, but I have seen cases where it exported but failed to import. When this happens, you look to using scripts to get out the data.
