If you have a home router or even if you plug directly into a cable modem or
DSL modem, you have a network. A lot of it is within AT&T's control too. You
won't see everything.

A small USB thumb drive would be ideal for downloading the 12.1.9 updater
file and getting it to your desktop computer.
