This time I am going to be able to say thank you. After reading all of the
hints to a successful update, I repaired permissions with Disk Utility and
restarted the computer. After having my friend download the update for me
again, I moved it from the thumb drive to my desktop, It then installed
correctly. Everything that I have checked so far is version 12.1.9. I just
ran the check for updates, and it came up with nothing.
