The LARGEST SOFTWARE COMPANY IN THE WORLD can't or won't (your choice, depending on whether you believe they're evil or just incompetent) make their email/calendar/contacts programs included in their "compatible" "Office" suites talk directly to each other or understand each other's file formats. Oh, I'm sorry, they DO offer a solution. Get yourself an Exchange Server. Now THERE'S a solution designed for your average family with one Mac and one PC. I know I'm being less than fair here to the Mac Business Unit at Microsoft. They do the best they can, and try to leverage what's unique to the Mac platform to make their products relevant to those of us who buy Macs for a reason. Nevertheless, the bottom line here SHOULD be an embarrassment for Microsoft.
