I'm an old-fashioned guy, and for most of my email I use plain text. However, I have a few accounts where everyone uses HTML (typically Outlook users, who also delight in adding all manner of eye-spinachthey think it's eye CANDY but it's typically as indigestible as the canned spinach my mom used to feed me as a kid--to their e-mails.
However, there ARE very good reasons for using HTML mail, such as including lists, tables, etc., and for creating forms for recipients to reply to. My question is this: is there some way to configure Entourage so that by default it will open a new message in my default account in plain text mode, but in the accounts where I use HTML in HTML mode? I know that there's only one extra mouseclick per message, which means I've already spent more time asking this question than I'll spend in correspondence composition for the account wherein I use HTML in the next week, but I'd still like to have the configuration option. By the way, is there any way to create mail "templates" in Entourage as their is in Outlook 2007?
