I just got off the phone, talking with Compuserve Tech Support, and after some 
discussion, found that it seems to be a problem with their Classic server--it's 
not letting email clients in.  I can still access it via webmail, but it will 
take at least 48 hours to sort out.  I may just forward all my CS mail to Gmail 
and access it that way.


I'll get back once I know something.  Thanks for the help!

Did you run Keychain first aid from within the Keychain access app to make sure 
nothing was corrupted there??
