Diane, Thanks for the instructions on using the "export_folders to MBOX format" script to get clean copies of my folders, and thanks for responding so quickly -- I'm on digest for this list, so I didn't see your reply until I checked the online archive today; I'll check the archive daily hereafter.
I tried the script, and it stopped on a corrupted mailbox, all right -- unfortunately, it's the Junk mailbox, which I can't rename! (Thus, I can't get it to the bottom of the stack, and let the script run on the rest of my mailboxes.)
