Perhaps not for your own experience, but recently I purchased the HP Photosmart Premium all-in-one FAX model. It does everything it's supposed to do in OS X 10.6.3. My biggest requirement was that it be able to fax documents from the print dialog. It does so, flawlessly, from Word, Adobe Reader, and Excel, among others. AND, it's oodles faster at faxing from its sheet feeder than was my previous Canon PIXMA all-in-one.
