So, I've configured my iPhone to access my Exchange account using Exchange
ActiveSync (which must be part of the default SBS 2008 Server installation,
because I never configured it on the server myself.

I can now send messages to people on my server's GAL (Global Access List),
receive email, and have contact/calendar info from my own default Exchange
Contacts and Calendar. However, as you've said, I cannot access the shared
calendar that we all use in our office. I subscribe to an SBS Server web
forum, so I'll run that issue by them and see if they have any ideas.

And, on my iPhone, I can decide whether to view my Entourage Calendar, my
Exchange Calendar, the "Birthdays" calendar from Apple Address Book (which
populates a "Birthdays" calendar in iCal) or some subset of all of these.

Just one more step (access to our shared business calendar) and I'll be a
happy camper!
