Can anyone explain this? Recently I've noticed that the links in my emails get messed up when I view them on Mobile Me. Looks like this problem has been there for a while. I see it on Me.com in my emails even last year!
Look at these: <http://www.apple.com> http://www.apple.com When send a CC to myself, the links look just like you see them above when I receive that CC email. But, when I view the same email on Me.com, in my Safari 4.1 the bracketed link, <http://www.apple.com> becomes: <http://apple.com> Where the greater then symbol at the end is replaced by > which makes the links unusable, unless people know to delete > at the end of URL of the Page Not Found! I don't know if my links with <> arrive OK to my recipients, or not! The Links without those <> brackets are OK, i.e they arrive OK to me, and look unchanged on Me.com. The same is happening on FireFox 3.5.9, but when the Page is Not Found, I get, which isa workaround kind of... -- <http://www.google.com> Oops! Firefox could not find apple.com> Suggestions: * Go to apple.com <http://apple.com/> * Search on Google: I am using Entourage 11.4.0, POP, Office 2004, latest Updates of 10.4.11 This problem doesn't come up when my outgoing email is HTML. It only happens with my Plain Text Emails, which is my preferred Format for all my outgoing email... Did my Entourage get corrupted, do I need to Rebuild it? My Encoding is set to Automatic, I don't think I've changed it! But I remember something about Unicode UTF-8 a while back, being helpful with International Languages. Switching to Unicode UTF-8 in a single Test Email didn't make change the outcome! I couldn't find explanation here http://bit.ly/d5kM9K My suspicion is that it has something to do with the changes at Me.com Mail... Their Junk Filter is going crazy! Some of my emails disappear. If I CC them to my gmail address, some of the disappeared emails show up in Trash... And it's not like I am a terrorist using some secret codes:)! Me.com tech support is working on that issue with me! Wish they had phone support! They've asked for just the Headers of those emails that didn't come back to me via CC, and have disappeared, except for no living in my Sent Box. Thanks in advance for your help!
