Actually, there is a surprisingly easy way. I just discovered that simply
dragging a message from Outlook to the desktop creates a .eml file (just
like Entourage), and by quitting Outlook and launching Entourage, the .eml
file can then be dragged into any Entourage folder. Dragging a group of
messages to the desktop results in individual .eml files but they can also
be selected and dragged as a group back into Entourage. Fortunately, I've
only had Outlook for a few days, so I don't have huge quantities of
messages to move -- I'm going to do it today so I can get back to being
productive instead of wasting time trying to find workarounds to the many
Outlook shortcomings.

An interesting side note -- when moving an Outlook message with bar
indents, all black text, no line-wrapping, etc. to the desktop and then
into Entourage, all the bar indents become bullets, all related text
becomes blue, and the entire message is properly line-wrapped (yahoo!!)!!
It's a shame that the Outlook team, apparently, decided that we don't need
such basic and very useful functionality.....

Cheers,
George A
