What works currently? I can bring the interface up, set an essid, configure a wep key, but I am unable to send anything. dmesg says the following: ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): eth2: link is not ready SoftMAC: Open Authentication completed with 00:05:5d:eb:60:16 SoftMAC: Authentication response received from 00:05:5d:eb:60:16 but no queue item exists. The TX/RX statistics show that there were no packets send or recieved. Nevertheless when switching to monitor mode and dumping all packets "on the wire", the stick recieves at least the beacon frames from the access point. Furthermore iwconfig displays the (presumably) correct link quality. Connecting to an unencrypted network does not work either. Testing with WPA was not possible due to lack of hardware. I hope this report is helpful.
