Hopefully someone can point me in the right dirrection here. We have a situation where we have: CC&C technologies zd1211b device (0x0ace::0x1215) ASUS motherboard with USB2.0 support Linux Kernel 2.4.31
We deactivate USB2.0 support in the bios, and do not load the appropriate kernel driver. However, if I leave the device in MIXED (ad-hoc) mode, I can watch the bitrate jump between 11Mb/s and 54Mb/s. While it doing this, the two devices we have ad-hoced loose communication with eachother. Now, if I use iwpriv's set_mac_mode and force the device into PURE_B mode, I get 100% 'invalid misc' packets. If we plug the device into a motherboard that is USB1.1 only, it behaves correctly. Anyone have any ideas here? Shouldn't the device stay away from G mode completely if the bus has been set to 1.1? Thanks for any help. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/b-g-device%2C-USB2.0-bus%2C-PURE_B-fails-tf1956721.html#a5367021 Sent from the zd1211-devs forum at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
