I recently acquired an ICIDU NI-707503 adapter which is based on the ZD1211b
chipset (vendor = 0ACE,
product = 1215).

I installed the latest firmware onto my system which is running OpenSUSE 11
and plugged in the adapter. The adapter was correctly identified and the
zd1211rw driver was loaded.

However I am also getting the "RF MAXIM_NEW_RF 0x8 is not supported" error
message.

My questions are:

1) Does MAXIM_NEW_RF represent an actual RF chip or is this just a place
holder for various unsupported chips.
2) How can I determine which RF chip my adapter has?
3) What actions can I take to ensure support? I am willing to code, test,
debug if I know what to do.
