Sorry, I jusy noticed from your dmesg that you have an Athlon64 processor. It is possible to do either with it. > Anyway i've tryed the driver + patch both in the same > pc with a new > compiled 2.6.28 kernel (dmesg: > http://pastebin.com/m4e872f1a and config > file: http://pastebin.com/m2e059c22 ) and in a 32 bit pc > (geode nx, > dmesg: http://pastebin.com/m49901919 ) with the default > arch 2.6.27 > kernel with similar results. It isn't necessary to build a whole new kernel - this is just a kernel module which would work as long as you have the kernel tree from which your running kernel was built around. The patch I did was mainly to deal with changes with kernel headers around 2.6.27. And granted, I know the vendor driver doesn't quit work with 64-bit kernel. You problem seems to be slightly different/newer hardware. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Zd1211-devs mailing list - http://zd1211.wiki.sourceforge.net/ Unsubscribe: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/zd1211-devs
