Hi, I have just got this particular usb wifi dongle. It seems the driver just failed with RF MAXIM_NEW_RF 0x8 is not supported. But I am sure there is a uw2453 rf inside it, 'cos I have cracked it open. Is there anyway to force the RF driver to use? or I have to modify the code and compile the driver?
I am running Ubuntu Server with kernel 2.6.22-15-server Actual error message. "zd1211rw 5-5:1.0: RF MAXIM_NEW_RF 0x8 is not supported" Thanks for your help.
