System tray icons is going to be deprecated in Windows Vista, 7 and future versions. It's hardly accessible in these versions. Instead there are Application Menu for OS X and Windows Vista/7 (don't know about Linux) which is supported by SWT. We have a partial support for OS X Application Menu, but nothing yet for Vista/7. This will be possible in future releases inshaAllah.
