So many people write haiku, that it's pretty funny. ;-)
One of the un-funny haiku I recall, because it is wise, true, and always
teaching us something, is the poem by Issa:
"The baby sparrows;
if you're nice to them,
they'll poop on you."
This is one to keep close-by for a lifetime.
Keep trying it on every few years.
Don't give up writing, but don't give up reading.
