JMJM,

Living in the 'relative' is what has made the West so rich and powerful.

What are we doing here?

Some feel good when they are agreed with; others love the challenge of
being disagreed with.

Persons with a common interest love to pass the time of day with
conversation, argument and analysis over the ether, when they cannot
meet and see and hear and touch each other in person.

Others need to give their knees a break from sitting. (I can imagine M
incredulously smirking! ;-) )

Briefly, the principal purpose of Yahoo groups is socializing.
