Indeed, Barb. Words are description of the spiritual path, as ED, Chris and Mike hinted kindly. Discussion in words does not help our spiritual growth. It does however stroke our ego.

Filtering, categorizing, analyzing, agreeing or denying are just futile work in the emptiness of form.

Sit down, shut up, stop thinking, integrate our mind, body and spirit, then transform IT to a single unit, which could then be connected with the universal life force and wisdom.

There is no need of languages, words, thoughts or comprehension. Just heart to heart connection.

Otherwise, it is just a futile exercise of our mind.

Hello Bill,

What is the difference between zen (or Chan) and Buddhism?
The spelling. They are both pointers to the truth.
