I suppose you must follow your weird, to be true to your understanding.

But I would urge close consideration of which words you cast in
everlasting PRINT; some words are better used in ephemeral speech,
in just a small audience, where they can be sure of doing good and will
probably not mis-lead and do harm (safer in, say, a retreat, or
other practice gathering, where people are sure not to be taking
notes or sound recordings). And if they do harm while you're still
there, you have a chance to fix it.

To leave WRITTEN traces, I feel it is safest to follow the lead of
orthodox scriptures (and not to imitate them, which is only thievery
and mis-appropriation to oneself of that which is still separate
from you).

It's usually best to quote the scripture -- or, yes, POINT to it --
rather than to re-cast it from a new basis (there's a lot to get
wrong). Translations would be OK (and for some of us, translations
are all we have of orthodox scripture, if we do not know the original
languages ourselves). It's a good study to read three or four
translations side by side, together.

I think it's best to leave scripture to speak for itself. It's been
written well, and it reads well.

For zen practitioners, write-ups such as yours could be dangerous.

That's what I would urge consideration about, the danger of harm:
Once a writing is out there, it's on its own and unsupervised, and
no matter how well you think you've groomed and brought the little
guy up, or how proud you are of her, you never know where it's
going to run.

Not that this would be the worst of it, but: it could also reflect
badly upon YOU.

I am not a Moderator here, but a practitioner, posting.

With greetings,

--Joe
