Right, Bill.  Pretty hard, though, to presuppose a knowledge of the future, or 
instill a firm resolve to sit upright in zazen on date-certain and die.

(as some famous masters are reported to have done).

What my colleague does is simply to treat his current age as if it is 
Fahrenheit, and then to convert it to C in the usual way.  Pretty funny, 
though, because for one whose age is less than 32, the "Celcius" age will come 
out negative, and at age 32, he would be zero C.

Ha, now I'm remembering the joke about the European edition of Ray Bradbury's 
FAHRENHEIT 451, entitled... CELCIUS 232.8... .
