Edgar,
Quite well and strongly and kindly agreed on all points! Thanks.
No baloney; what you say -- and the way you put it -- is important.
Please, All; take note! Read; or re-read what Edgar wrote.
This is not a "put-down" of fuzzy feelings, but an encouragement to sharpen
understanding; clarify and make expressions SINCERE; and reside as deeply as we
can in our true nature, live from there, and speak from there. I emphasize
"True": Not Imaginary, not Poetic, not Metaphoric. For once!
The glory, the wonder, the miracle, is... that this can be done! Our practice
opens this.
Of course, we have use USE Imagination; Poetry; and Metaphors to make almost
any expression. ;-)
Hahaha!
So, do the best you want (All).
But don't be surprised if "critics" take you to task, and tell you that you are
full of Helium, or suggest that The People from Shinola may not be amused, and
may adjudge you ...deficient (i.e., full of it).
Best regards,
--Joe
PS On the other hand, to make the Universe seem friendly to us -- to befriend
it, ourselves -- however metaphorically; to use language, even if just to
ourselves; to mollify ourselves to the Universe, or to mollify the Universe to
Ourselves!... well; I feel it's a great step of Creativity... a step that *can*
be forgiven by others; for, surely, others may not have our Understanding, our
Realization, which may still be coming for them. We can hope.
Or,... big point!... their understanding and realization may SO FAR SURPASS
ours, that even Fantasy may be legal-tender for them, as playful beings at
their very own printing-presses, for the care and entertainment and happiness
of All, as Bodhisattvas watching over us, even if we deserve it NOT. I swear,
I can't tell, sometimes.
Forgive!... . I give latitude, and longitude, temporarily!, to all.
