No it didn't violate my mental model.  It seemed to concur.  You wrote:

That seems to imply that 'illusions' (whatever that means to you) is not Zen 
(whatever that means to you).

I know what all this means to me, and what you said FOR ME implies that 
'illusions' are not 'zen'.

So, what's up?  What did you mean?
