Merle, Nothing is really wrong with Edgar. We just disagree on some topics. I think sometimes he doesn't thoroughly read my posts before he comments, and as a result infers that I say things that I did not.
In general the Western media paint a picture of the Dalai Lama as a 'saint'. I don't agree with that. I think it's because most people in the West have such a glowing image of him that any criticism such as I make seem that much more negative. I really don't see him in all that negative light - more neutral. But like I said I think that neutrality seems negative when compared to his image as portrayed in the West. I don't agree with anyone wholeheartedly, at least on every topic. Can you help yourself from doing that? I don't know, but I suspect you could.
