Maybe I *can* come around to that POV.  Yes: maybe the skeletons of the burned 
guitars are in MUSEUMS?  Just hoping that they live on, and ON.

Sheesh, listen to me.  Was Jimi not teaching us the Truth of Impermanence, even 
when it comes to Gibson quality instruments?

PS  Nick played a yellow Gibson SG, not a Strat.  Jimi's Strats were Right-Hand 
models that he stringed backwards and played upside-down: he was a South-Paw.  
I like calling him "our Famous South-Paw Lutenist".

He sang a song about me, BTW: you saw the performance in this 1967 video from 
Germany?  But I had a BOW in my hand, English Yew-Wood, a light Longbow, 50#, 
so please substitute "Bow" where he sings "Gun".  It was hard to straighten him 
out on this because, well, we were both seldom straight:
