Joe,
A few posts ago, I asked you what you find in Buddhism and especially
in Zen that attracts you. I am still curious. What draws you to Zen
methods? Maharshi's method of "Who am I?" is similar in that respect.

Suresh:
Please note I am a year long member in US Brahmins yahoo group, to
that group only many I have posted, and from there few what I thought
relevant I took out and posted in Zen group.

Frankly speaking I was too interested in religion from my very early
days. My very first interesting book is “My experiment with truth” by
Mahatma Gandhi, which inspired me well. Then I started reading
Bhagavad gita. All these reading done around my matric time.

When I had taken Merchant Navy career, during my 2nd mate exams, I
come across OSHO books, I found him so Juicy, I have started reading
so many OSHO books, thereafter or simultaneously I was started reading
J.Krishnamurti and Ramana Maharishi, Vivekananda. OSHO himself had
talked about all great enlightened people including Buddha, Jesus, Lau
Tzu. And very recently only I have read whole works of Buddhism, and
Eckhart Tolle.

I have no reservation on which to book to read, and what to follow.
But I have understood, that all are talking only one thing that is
your inner nature, which is god or Buddha like nature.

I understand that all enlightened beings are same like, they
themselves real god. Enlightening means, your thinking mind stops
totally or it will die, then all together a new center is born which
is what make the body move, and which is one and only god. And my
perception is this whole universe is god. And for last one and half
year I am feeling much more divine, which if I tell outside, people
don’t believe and tell me that I am hallucinating, so I do not want to
stress on that. Because all are god only. What is to get name, all
name is belonging to him only. I am him.

Best wishes
Suresh
