Phantom: - Yes, the fact that I can think is proof that there is time.
Thought takes place in time. No time, no thought.
Suresh:- Who is this ‘I’ which says I think? Thought does not take
place in time. Thought is also like matter in subtle form or it is
like subtle sound waves or radio waves, so it is still under the
category of matter alone.
Any matter to come out there has to be some raw material isn’t it? Now
can you tell me how does this cosmic come out? I mean all these
galaxies of stars?, There has to be some source before that. Or
someone makes pot, to make pot you need raw material (clay) is
required to make this pot isn’t it? Similarly to make out all the
visible forms that exist in this universe, you need raw material?
Where does it exist.
Look closely at all the forms that exist in this universe, all are
visible because either they emit light or they reflect light, so there
is light in all, and similarly every form has their own intrinsic
sound, you can feel that. Ask any astronaut when they approach they
will definitely will hear certain sound from the object which they
approach. Even you look at the world, in the world all creations make
sound. So a raw material which makes all these forms are made up of
light and sound, like how we watch cinema, which is made up of sound &
light.
And this light & sound is what space is, full of energy. As you may
aware energy is in motion, constantly in motion. And this motion is
true.
Imagine at least that you are that energy, you are in constant motion,
that only you will be aware, but you will not aware of time. And
energy is only one. You know from science that energy cannot be
destroyed; but it can be converted from one kind of energy into
another kind of energy that is all. That means in totality what exist
is only one energy, and that same energy has taken different forms.
So when whole universe is made up of only one energy where is the
possibility of time?
Time can exist only when there are two ends, i.e birth to death, or
from seed to plant, until there is two objects or two events or two
ends, time cannot be measured. But what exist is only one ocean of
energy.
Have you observed waves, at any one single second there may be many
waves, or a chain of waves all exist simultaneously, no time gap is
need to form one wave and another wave etc., Thoughts are similar to
this. Thoughts or in other way to state is words (images and sound),
those words have been thrown inside to your mind by you are floating
on the pond like nature mind, which has wave nature move up and down,
and at any one point of second, you will have several words floating
in it, there is no time gap between one word to another word.
Your mind is a miniature universe. On the universe you have galaxies
of stars, and in your mind you have cluster of thoughts. Universe made
you, and you make your own world of thoughts.
Please understand that within thoughts there is no you and I.
you are the complete bundle of thoughts. But remember you only
produced thoughts, it is like ocean produced waves, you are not waves
in reality you are ocean in reality. Feel your oceanic nature or feel
the wholeness, then mind will not move, and then there is no sense of
time.
