Dear Merle,

Always fun. And,...

Yes!, plenty of light to go around.

We're about to enter the Season of Lights, too.

Still wearing my sunglasses, here, against UV-A, UV-B. Necessary, in the
desert, at altitude. Keeps us more free from cataracts. Lots of ultraviolet
light, you know. My glasses are glacier-climber's glasses, made in France.
Just one month from start of our Winter, here, and still a lovely 80+ deg (27+
C). Thanking my lucky stars. Weekend is supposed to be a LOT warmer
("hotter"). But we know how to dress, for that. ;-)

Bought an acrylic painting by a famous Astronomer and painter, here in Tucson,
William K. Hartmann. Do you know of him? An "en plein air" painting, of Kitt
Peak, my observatory mountain. He's an astronomer, too, as I am, and planetary
scientist, as I am. My elder. Lots to learn, here. My first painting of his,
by him. I do not get it until the show is over, just before Christmas! It
will hang at the gallery until then, with the red dot now hiding the price, to
indicate, "Sold". He has a painting of Palomar Mountain, too, which I might
"need". Else, I drive to Palomar, say, next Spring (here), and paint my own!
Save me $$. And make me rich in 500 years.

Painting is so much fun; I'm thrilled and tickled. How goes your "Music of the
Spheres" triptych? But I know you have been busy... . Busy here so much that
I haven't had time to taste Bill!'s "Singha" Lager, yet. "Plaza" here has it.
Only in 12 oz. size.

Tomorrow.
