Well, really?  Maybe I don't mind posting the link, that I know you will not 
energize -- visit -- peruse -- roll the dice on... the quintessential VU track, 
"Waiting for the Man", 1966.  Lou's smack (heroin) connection uptown, at 
Lexington and 125th Street.  You'll hear him mention "Lexington... 
One-Two-Five!, ...feel sick and dirty, more dead than alive!...".

Beatles could not be so honest because they had to be Commercial.

I love the grit and dirt that Lou and VU expose(s).  Just a symbol of the 
times.  No, not the _TIMES_.
