I think our only difference here is a semantic one. I agree with you that Buddha Nature is 'awareness without thoughts'. That's EXACTLY what I call 'experience'. When thoughts enter the picture it's no longer just 'experience', it's 'perception'. I think when I use the word 'experience' you are thinking I'm meaning 'perception'. I am not.
