"So I must be on guard".

This is very important for a couple of reasons. First, we need to pay attention 
to what we are dong and what is happening around us. You remember A. Huxley's 
"Attention! Attention," in The Island.  We must be ever careful of not 
backsliding into careless thinking and unskillful actions and behaviour.

Secondly, it's so easy to get lost in our emotions/feelings, relationships, 
pressures, disappointments and the hustle and bustle of every day life. This is 
the opposite of being Awake. Even after an Awakening experience that may last 
second, hours, days or weeks, we still have to "be on guard" against 
backsliding. 

Attention! Attention!
