Chris,
Bilge-water is fluid and dynamic.
Any answer from Merle that was not an evasion or a page torn from a dictionary
or encyclopedia would have taught me something. Evasiveness is not an
expression. But it might be an admission.
I don't attack writing about soul and jazz and dogs as showing something about
"soul"; I just ask, and asked, even politely, three times -- and I thought
THREE TIMES was the Charm, Chris, eh? -- about "A" soul. I wanted to know a
sister's, a Cousin's experience. Shit, I still do.
I never found such a thing; I can't help it if I'm a dolt. Let somebody clue
me in. Merle?
Merle??
She's gone.

PS Sensitivity is a virtue and a gift; I don't think it can be overdone. It
can overdo us, sometimes. All our gifts need time to synch-up. It's
never-ending. Like nerve-endings (nonsense; I know).
